Improving quality of life in our community takes a network of strong nonprofits and community groups.
We provide expertise and strategic solutions to area organizations so they can thrive in serving out their mission for years to come. To celebrate the good work being done, we also recognize local volunteers and organizations through our annual awards program.
GRANT APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Before you get started, consider the following guidelines:

Your proposal must benefit Muscatine County and/or Louisa County residents.

The program or project must be completed within 10 months of awarding.

The Granting Committee may investigate your proposal to ensure its validity or gain additional information. Applications must be received by the deadline date noted on the online grant application.

As a grant recipient, you will be required to provide a final report, send digital photos, and submit receipts to prove your expenditures.

Great Initiative Award
Recognizes a volunteer who served as the impetus behind a great initiative resulting in a plan, program, service, or organization that improves the quality of life in Muscatine County.

Giles Joslyn
Youth Initiative Award
Recognizes a youth volunteer who served as the primary organizer of a charitable program or project in Muscatine County.

Tom Hendricks
Community Service Award
Recognizes a qualified charitable organization successfully implementing an important initiative which addresses critical needs or enhances the quality of life in Muscatine County.
